York council releases retail business pack

With the recent changes in national guidance on social distancing, and as we fast approach the Government’s 15th June deadline for the reopening of non-essential retail, the City of York council wants to help businesses adapt to the new changes in guidance.  That is why they have developed ‘retail advice pack’, a document which provides some practical measures which can be implemented in premises to help keep staff and customers safe.  The document can be found on the Council’s website here:  www.york.gov.uk/BusinessToolkit.

The pack has been created for business owners across the city, who operate premises where the public visit, so please do share this pack with your networks. You may already be offering these services, or you may be thinking about how you can operate your business safely in the future.  The proposed measures are not an exhaustive list, as there may be other measures which you may want to implement in your business.
