Entries open for the Raising the Bar Awards

Businesses and organisations across West and North Yorkshire are invited to enter the Raising the Bar Awards. Raising the Bar is an initiative from the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce which helps companies with their social impact goals. The Raising the Bar Awards are held annually and enable businesses and employees to be recognised for the hard work they put in to improve the local region. This year’s awards have opened for entry and have seen substantial improvements to the online entry process and a diverse set of new sponsors. The awards reward those companies with strong social impact initiatives. Businesses can choose to enter for one or more of the award categories, which are Community, Economy, Education and Environment. To ensure businesses of all sizes are recognised, each category offers three awards to Small, Medium and Large businesses. The 2019 awards have 3 sponsors: Esh Group are sponsoring the Community Awards, Solenis is sponsoring the Economy Awards and Drax Group are sponsoring the Environment Awards. The West & North Yorkshire Chamber is seeking sponsorship for the final available award category, Education. The awards evening will be held on 6th November at the stunning Leeds Civic Hall, located central to the West & North Yorkshire region. Andrew Edwards, Presenter for BBC Radio Leeds, will return to host the event for a consecutive year. Awards entries are now open and close for entries on October 4th. Businesses can enter online here: http://www.raising-the-bar.org.uk/
