Terms and Conditions
- By agreeing to the terms and conditions when purchasing a membership product to become a member of the West & North Yorkshire Chamber, you have entered into a twelve-month contract, covering a package of benefits and services.
1) Once purchased, the selected package of benefits and services cannot be cancelled or removed during the 12 month membership term. Throughout membership you will have the option to remove any selected package to take effect at the start of the next renewal period.
2) At any point during the 12 month membership term you are permitted to upgrade to any additional package of your choice. Upgrades will be handled on a pro-rata basis, based on the remaining term of the current membership. At the start of the next renewal period, you will be invoiced for all currently selected packages, unless a downgrade request has been received.
3) Once a membership renewal period has commenced, it also lasts for 12 months, and clauses 1 and 2 above will apply to the renewal.
Please also note that on joining, you are bound by these terms as laid out in our Memorandum & Articles of Association: “2.13 A Member may terminate membership by giving notice in writing at least three months before the day when his subscription shall next be due. If no such notice is received, the Member shall be liable for the subscription for the ensuing year which shall be a debt due to and legally recoverable by the Chamber.”
