In response to member feedback over recent years, we wanted to evolve our membership package to provide further flexibility and choice over what services your company wants (and needs). By redesigning our membership scheme, we are now offering you the option to select some (or all) of our support services which are deemed essential to your organisation – giving you full control over what you consider to be important. This format offers better value for money and provides further transparency in which services you are acquiring through your chosen membership.
Our objective remains the same, to continue supporting, connecting and representing the business community as we have done for over 150 years. It’s in our best interest to provide flexibility, to help businesses like yours save time, money and stress. We want to help nurture your growth and be pioneers in the way that we offer our support services. We are in fact the very first Chamber to introduce this new membership scheme and hope that through tailored support and enhanced engagement, we can potentially expand our business community to bring further networking opportunities and a greater representation of our region.
Your membership will change when it is due for renewal. For now, current members can enjoy the benefits of all the bundles. Further details are provided below "What do I need to do following the launch of Choice Based Membership".
All businesses will need to acquire the "Chamber Membership" package before upgrading to include any further benefit bundles, as detailed below. Build the membership that works for you with enhanced flexibility, designed to suit the needs of your business.

If you're an existing member of the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, you won't need to take any further action until the point of renewal.
Your company will continue to receive all the benefits (as initially purchased) in your twelve-month agreement. In other words, Choice Based Membership won't take full effect until you come to renew your membership, although there may still be some additional benefits that you can access in the meantime.
Our team have been working hard to decide what a provisional package might look like for your business at the point of renewal. Through analysing historical data and the benefits that you have previously utilised over the past twelve-months, we have provisionally placed each company into a certain bracket, which we feel matches the needs of your business. At the point of renewal, you will be given notice about what this package looks like, to then decide whether you’d like to amend it in any way.
From 1st August 2025, Choice Based Membership will be available to all businesses when initially signing up. Take full advantage of the flexible new framework by deciding which bundle(s) you would like to acquire on top of your standard "Chamber Membership" package.

Members can upgrade their package at any time throughout the year, to gain additional support from the Chamber through the purchase of our bundles. Downgrading your membership, however, is not possible until the point of renewal. This includes any bundles which have previously been purchased. You will be given the option to amend your package at the point of renewal, including adding/removing bundles to fit with the needs of your company.
By signing up to our membership, you agree to a fixed 12-month contract. Cancellation within this term is not permitted, and any outstanding fees that remain at the end of your membership will be due immediately when requested by our accounts team, regardless of whether your company has remained active or not in utilising our services.

Patron members will receive a company profile on our website, and exclusive invitations to some of our events held throughout the year.
